Admission of pupils to Primary school, nursery and reception class - 2019 - application forms

To be returned to the Lifelong Learning Department by 1 March

To be completed on behalf of pupils seeking admission to a Primary School RECEPTION and NURSERY classes.

To apply for the service, please register with the online portal and  fill in the online form. 

How do I register on the online portal?

You will need to use an email address to create a secure account to register with our online portal. You will also need to agree to our terms and conditions, which gives us permission to hold and use your personal information in accordance with our privacy and data protection policies.

Important note: When registering to use the portal for the first time, you will be asked to go to your email account, open the email that we will have just sent you and click on the link to activate your account. You will not be able to login to the My Account portal or use the forms without activating your account from the link in the email. If you don’t think you’ve received an email, please check your Spam folder. We can check and activate the account manually if required, please let us know if this is something you want us to do.

Note: applications for full time admission must be made on behalf of children who are currently part time pupils at the school.

Parents wishing to send their child to St Mary’s School, Holyhead, or Ysgol Caergeiliog should return this form to the Lifelong Learning Department as soon as possible and by 1st February, 2019 at the latest.

Note: An application should be submitted on behalf of your child noting your preferred school. Applications where parents have expressed a preference will be given priority over those where no preference has been expressed. The Authority will not consider any late applications until after places have been allocated to those children whose applications have been received by the closing date.

It should be noted that submitting an application before the closing date does not guarantee a place in the preferred school. Parents will be informed by the last day of May whether their child has been admitted to the preferred school or not.
