Audit of accounts 2020 to 2021


Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 30 and 31 of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004 any local elector may, from Tuesday 31 August 2021 to Monday 4 October 2021 (inclusive) during the times below request to inspect and make copies of the accounts of Isle of Anglesey County Council for the year ended 31 March 2021 and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto, subject to Data Protection legislation.

The draft Statement of Accounts document for 2020 to 2021 will be available for inspection at Llangefni Library, Lôn Y Felin, Llangefni, LL77 7RT during the following hours.

  • Monday 9.30 am to 4.30pm
  • Tuesday 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
  • Thursday 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
  • Friday 9.30 am to 4.30 pm

On or after Tuesday 5 October 2021, the appointed Auditor (Adrian Crompton, Audit Wales, Ground Floor Unit 5325, North Wales Business Park, Abergele, Conwy, LL22 8LJ), at the request of any local government elector for the area to which the accounts relate, will give the elector or his/her representative an opportunity to question him about the accounts and any such elector or his/her representative may attend before the Auditor and make objection to any of the accounts.

Written notice of an objection must first be given to the appointed Auditor via the contact details above. A copy of the written notice must also be provided to S151 Officer, Resources Department, Isle of Anglesey County Council, Council Offices, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7TW.
