The Waste Management Section is responsible for collecting and disposing of household waste and recycling, and provides a number of services to make it easier for everyone to enjoy a ‘cleaner and greener’ Anglesey.

The Council operates a household waste and recycling collection service throughout the island.
All missed collections must be reported to the Council no later than 5pm on the day following the normal collection day for it to be collected.
See below for the opening times during the Christmas period.

Recycling not only helps our environment here on Anglesey and beyond - it also saves money, energy and creates local employment.
We keep our beautiful Island ‘clean and green’ via a range of street cleansing services, however we also enforce environmental legislation.

We will remove graffiti from domestic properties on Anglesey - all you need to do is complete the graffiti complaints form.
Report any fly-tipping, dog fouling, graffiti, cigarette litter or any other form of littering.
