Council Services:

Stopped UDP (unadopted) December 2005

At a meeting held on the 1st December 2005, the county council resolved to stop work on the UDP and move to the new Local Development Plan (LDP) system.

The last stage of the UDP process was the Inspector’s Report along with the associated recommendations.  The council received an Official Order from the Welsh Assembly Government confirming that the deposit plan of 2001, as amended by the Inspector’s Report along with the associated recommendations can be given weight as a material consideration in dealing with current planning applications.

This document has been prepared in order to combine the relevant stages of the UDP together with the Inspector’s Recommendations to give a working version of the UDP.

The stages of the UDP that have been combined within this document are:

  • Deposit Plan 2001
  • Proposed Changes 2002
  • Further Proposed Changes 2003
  • Inspector’s Report 2004

If you are unsure about any aspect of this warning version then do not hesitate to contact the Planning Policy Section who will be willing to assist.

  • Maps

Please see the downloadable “working versions” of the UDP inset maps which contain all relevant stages of the UDP together with the Inspector’s Recomendations.
