Dingle Woodland Education Pack

The primary school National Curriculum in Wales advocates children’s learning through first hand experimental activities and play.

It places a child’s personal and social development and well-being at the heart of the curriculum. This pack has been produced to help you to introduce new dimension to any field trip you may be planning to a woodland.

In addition many of the activities in this resource are adaptable for many natural and manmade habitats, including the school grounds. All link into the new Foundation Phase and current National Curriculum as well as being cross-curriculum.

The Dingle Woodland Education Pack is available to download below, as a PDF document. The pack is image-rich, and the file size of this document is large, as a consequence.

In partnership with the Big Lottery Fund and the Forest Education Initiative (FEI).
