Anglesey’s coastal wildlife

Anglesey has a rich and varied coastline most of which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) attracting many locals and tourists to its shores each year. The coastline is also home to an abundance of diverse wildlife.

Locally important habitats such as sand dunes that are also nationally and internationally important systems and many of the award winning sandy beaches are rich in wildlife. To learn more about the wildlife of Anglesey’s sandy shores download the PDF booklet below.
