Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn - Isle of Anglesey County Council

Find, renew or reserve library items

Remember that you can download e-books, e-audiobooks and magazines free. If you need to join the library, please see our Join the library information.

Using our Library Catalogue you can search across our collections and those of Gwynedd and Conwy, as part of the TalNet partnership. You can also narrow your search for print books, audiobooks, and DVDs to the library or collection of your choice to reserve items free of charge or renew items that you have already borrowed.

You can use your library card number and 4 digit PIN - leaving out the GWP and any spaces, to log in to your library account, where you can renew your loans and make reservations from the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day.

Log-in to the Talnet Anglesey Libraries Catalogue

You can download and reserve eBooks too!

Haven’t got a pin?

If you don’t yet have a 4 digit PIN (Personal Identification Number), please ask for one next time you are in the library, or you can fill in our online form and choose Libraries

Linc y Gogledd

You can also reserve or request items from other libraries by inter-library loan or through the  LINC y Gogledd scheme. You can search this catalogue on the computers in the library and at home, college etc through the internet.

Renewing items

You can renew the items you have borrowed by calling in to any one of our libraries on the island. There’s no need to bring them with you - we can renew them by scanning the membership number on your library card.

You can also renew by phone/fax/email/letter or via the Talnet Anglesey Libraries Catalogue website. Again, we’ll need the membership number on your library card and PIN.

Sometimes we won’t be able to renew items, especially popular and new works that are in high demand. However, if you haven’t quite finished that book, we may be able to lend it to you for a day or two longer, depending on the individual circumstances.
