Careers Wales

Free, bilingual, impartial careers information, advice and guidance for all ages – linking education and business.

Careers Wales can provide information and advice on:

  • courses in further and higher education colleges and universities
  • local and national employers, including current job vacancies, training opportunities and employment trends
  • a wide variety of careers, including the qualifications and skills required, the methods of entry and the routes for progression

Specialist help is available to young people having special educational or training needs.

Young people, and their parents, can arrange an appointment with a careers officer either at school or at the local careers office. The Careers Wales website offers a vacancy service for young people between 16 and 19 looking for employment or training. They can help you find a suitable job or training opportunity by matching your ambitions to vacancies on their computer database.
