Supporting People Programme
The Supporting People Programme aims to help vulnerable people improve their quality of life.
The programme provides housing-related support to help people develop or maintain the skills and confidence needed to enable them to live as independently as possible and maintain their tenancies.
Every Local Authority in Wales has a Supporting People Team who are responsible for developing, monitoring andreviewing housing related support services.
Supporting People is a Welsh Assembly Government funding programme which is committed to providing a better quality of life for vulnerable people by supporting them to live independently.
Supporting People funds a wide and varied programme of housing related support that reaches out to very different but equally vulnerable people in society.
Supporting People pays for service providers to give you housing-related support which will help you become moreindependent and to maintain your home.
A booklet has been developed to provide information on projects in Anglesey that provide accommodation and / or support to clients who are homeless or potentially homeless.

This form - known as NME - is used to provide an overview of services needed within Anglesey for people who require housing related support.

This is the third Supporting People Local Commissioning Plan (LCP) since the introduction of the Supporting People Programme Grant in August 2012.
Changes in the Welsh Government’s Supporting People Programme Guidance have led to recommendations which include the need to change the way warden services is provided for older people living in Sheltered Accommodation.
