Housing Services is committed to giving tenants the opportunity to have a say in how their home is managed.
We believe we can deliver better services by talking and listening to tenants.
To help us to improve the service we actively encourage tenants to come forward to share their views and ‘get involved’ in a way that suits them - we call this tenant participation.
To co-ordinate tenant participation and ensure your views are heard we employ two dedicated tenant participation officers - the ‘Tenant Participation Team’.
The Tenant Participation team offer a wide range of ways for you to ‘get involved’ - this is called our ‘menu of options’.
We recognise that everyone is different and for this reason it is important we offer a choice of tenant participation activities. Tenant Participation is for all our tenants and we are committed to equal opportunities.
If you would like to get involved please see our menu of options below and you will also see what difference tenants have made by getting involved.
You may also like to take a look at our Tenant Participation Strategy; this will give you a background to tenant participation and how it has developed since it was first introduced.
The Tenant Participation team aim to offer a range of ways for tenants to ‘get involved’ in a way that suits them.
In March 2007 the Welsh Government developed the first National Tenant Participation Strategy (NTPS) which required all social landlords in Wales to maximise tenants’ rights to participate and to promote excellence in tenant participation.
