What to do if you have concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or young person
Everyone working with children and families should be familiar with their organisation’s policies and procedures to safeguard children, including which individual they should notify if they have any concerns.
When there is a suspicion or allegation that a child is being abused or neglected
All suspicions or allegations should be reported to the duty social worker at the Intake and Referral Team.
