Council Services:

Parents and carers

This section of our site is for parents, carers or anyone who’s caring for a child or is worried about them.

Children can only be effectively protected from harm if the whole community, as well as professionals, takes responsibility for keeping them safe.

If you have any knowledge or suspicion that a child is being harmed or is at risk of harm you should pass that information on to the local social work team.
