Direct Payments
People who have been assessed as needing help from Social Services may ask to receive a Direct Payment to help meet their personal care needs.

Independent living fund
This an independent trust fund set up by the Government to help people with learning and physical disabilities to stay in their own homes.
Disabled facilities grant
This is a grant specifically for work to provide facilities and to carry out adaptations to dwellings for the benefit of disabled people.

Help at the touch of a button - 24hr service provided by Anglesey County Council

There are 23 supported accommodation schemes on Anglesey.

Support in hospital
The Housing and Social Services Department provides a social work service for Anglesey residents in Ysbyty Gwynedd, or in any of the local community hospitals.

The Handyperson Scheme is a service provided by the Isle of Anglesey County Council and Gofal a Thrwsio Môn.
