Library and information services for visitors to Anglesey

Whether you're here on business, or enjoying a holiday on the island, you're very welcome to use our library and information services.

Business visitors

If you're here or passing through Anglesey on business, you might want to take advantage of one or more of the following services:

  • PCs with internet access, Microsoft Office and colour printing
  • fax service
  • photocopying service (Amlwch, Holyhead, Llangefni and Menai Bridge libraries)
  • information service including access to business directories etc

Holidaymakers

If you're here on holiday, you can borrow items from any of our libraries. All you'll need to do is bring your library card from home and fill in a temporary membership form. If you just want to catch up with friends and family, use one of our computers to email for free.

We've also got plenty of information on where to go and what to see on the island and our knowledgeable staff will be happy to advise you.

For those who want to find out more about Anglesey's fascinating heritage and culture or perhaps trace a family connection on the island, we've a wealth of local history resources.     Whether you want to trace the history of your house, discover the origins of your neighbourhood or trace your family history, our helpful and knowledgeable staff will guide and assist you through our collections of historical documents.

    All of Anglesey's public libraries offer free access to the internet, which provides a gateway to a wealth of information.

    Our information service can hopefully provide answers to your enquiries, or at the very least point you in the right direction. Many questions can be answered quickly from our own resources and we would be more than willing to contact other libraries or local and national organisations on your behalf.
