Council Services:

Armed Forces Covenant

The Armed Forces Covenant encourages support for the Armed Forces Community.

The purpose of the Isle of Anglesey Armed Forces Covenant is to encourage support for the Armed Forces Community which is working and living on the Isle of Anglesey and to acknowledge and remember the sacrifice made by members of the Armed Forces Community, especially those who have given their lives.

If you are a member of the armed forces (Regular or Reserve), a veteran, family member or widow(er), the Isle of Anglesey County Council and partners are committed to providing easy access to the support and entitlements you are entitled to.

How can I find the help I need?

There are a wide range of services specifically designed for the armed forces community available from the public sector, the voluntary and third sector but it can often be difficult to find the best organisations to help.

To make things easier and more user friendly for you, use our themed pages below to find organisations nationally and locally who will be able to assist and provide advice.

The Community Covenant Grant Scheme.

The Community Covenant Grant Scheme delivers financial support to projects at the local level, which strengthen the ties or the mutual understanding between members of the Armed Forces Community and the wider community in which they live. For further information go to:
