Non-domestic rates - accounts information


Isle of Anglesey County Council receive a number of requests for the same type of information which is relevant for non-domestic rates (business premises).

To cope with the requests, we will publish the following information: 

Accounts information

We will publish this information quarterly and we will not provide any individual responses to similar applications during the year only refer the inquiry to the relevant report on the website.

Restrictions on the information

  • the names and addresses are provided for correspondence for limited companies and public bodies only, and not for individuals (sole traders, partnerships, for example). The Data Protection Act prevents the publication of this information
  • the taxpayer is the person who is liable to pay business rates. In many cases this may be the lease holder and not the owner. The owner cannot be identified from this information
  • account numbers are not shown because these are unique to the account and will be used to ensure that the person named on the bill is the account holder when contact is made with Isle of Anglesey County Council
  • the lists will be published next at the end of April 2024
  • note that the correspondence address is the last known address held by the council
  • any changes to the lists below will be reflected on the next published reports list

Accounts information

  • the latest accounts information is published as it is on 5 January 2024
  • any credit held on the account on 31 March will be offset automatically for the new financial year
  • the accounts are updated daily and some may have corresponding debits on other accounts

Use of bilingual names

It is the Authority’s practice to use the default Welsh names for town names in addresses. Here is provided a list of the Welsh and English equivalent names for the Authority and towns that have English and Welsh names.

All other villages do not have an English name
