How to pay your council tax.

By post

All correspondence and payment by post must be addressed to the:

Corporate Director (Finance)
Revenues and Benefits Office
PO Box 29

LL77 7ZF

Please quote the reference numbers with all payments and enquiries. Please make your cheque payable to “Isle of Anglesey County Council”.

By Direct debit

Why not make things easier for yourself by paying your council bill by DIRECT DEBIT. It’s the simplest and safest way to pay and here’s why:

  • You remain in control
  • You have a money back guarantee
  • It’s paid monthly but you only sign one form and your Bank or Building Society does the rest
  • You can forget queues, cheques, stamps
  • It’s a lot safer than paying with cash
  • It’s also cheaper and simpler for the council to administer, which benefits everyone in our community.

If you have a query, you have time to check anything you don’t understand or agree with, and under the rules of the Direct Debit guarantee any payment which breaks the terms of your instruction will be refunded immediately to your account.

So how do I change to Direct Debit?

Simply complete the Direct Debit Instruction form. Please see the downloadble pdf forms in the downloads tab above.
